Meet David Miller

David has spent over 18 years in various accounting and finance leadership roles. Most recently, David was Chief Accounting Officer of Steadfast Apartment REIT, Inc. (STAR), where he was responsible for accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance. Prior to joining STAR, David served in various accounting leadership roles at Steadfast REIT Investments, LLC, including Vice President of Accounting and Controller. He was also the Chief Accounting Officer of Stira Alcentra Global Credit Fund and Stira Investment Adviser, LLC, a boutique direct corporate lending financial institution. David began his career as an auditor at BDO USA, LLP, an accounting and audit firm, where he served public and private clients in a variety of industries. David received a B.A. in Business Administration from the California State University at Fullerton. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
